Unlike HR consulting firms, Mills Law Group provides rigorous legal analysis that allows institutions to understand and mitigate risk while preserving attorney-client privilege for sensitive matters. And unlike many law firms, we are seasoned fact-finders, with deep experience conducting complex investigative interviews and evaluating credibility.
Mills Law Group is designed to be nimble and efficient, capable of delivering high-quality investigative services to institutions of varying sizes without the cost structure or inefficiencies often associated with large law firms. The firm is based in Phoenix, Arizona, and Washington, D.C., and operates nationwide.
Mills Law Group is founded and managed by attorney Joseph E. Mills. Joseph began his career at a boutique employment law firm, where he conducted several complex independent investigations for large institutional clients in higher education. Since founding Mills Law Group, his practice has expanded to include clients across the public and private sectors, including universities, healthcare systems, utilities, and state and municipal agencies. Joseph earned his J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, and also holds an LL.M. in Environmental Law and a master’s degree in Environmental Policy from George Washington University.
